COURSE INFORMATION

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course is perfect for new managers or individuals leading or involved in process improvement projects or initiatives. Organized around an actual project example, this course clearly illustrates the various phases of project management and how each contributes to results-oriented project completion. Participants will gain the knowledge and project management tools necessary to begin developing and executing projects from start to finish.

Initiate a project and gain clear buy-in for project deliverables.
Plan a project, establish scope, and establish criteria for successful completion.
Execute a project with clearly assigned responsibilities, timelines, and objectives.
Manage (control) a project, monitor progress, and take corrective action.
Complete (close) a project by documenting and/or presenting project results, obtaining agreement by all parties that all deliverables have been met.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE
All Personnel (Management and Staff from Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing Departments)

COURSE LENGTH & FORMAT: 4 Hours; classroom presentation involving actual project management case study and interactive project management exercises.

CLASS SIZE GUIDELINES:
Public Event: 10 minimum
Private Company Event: Variable (depending on internal demand)
